"Photographic images and imaging processes have characterized the debate in recent months in connection with 'AI-generated' images and texts. This renewed discussion about the truth of photographic images is as old as photography itself. What is new is that it affects and concerns us all. Because what is happening directly around us and in the world, the latest news, for example, not only appears immediately, globally and everywhere in a matter of seconds, but also directly on the display we are holding in our hands - even in our comfort zone - sometimes very directly.
