In the solo show "Two pieces from a broken heart“ ANDREAS BAUSCH shows space-creating painting that makes the phenomena of time, space and movement directly perceptible in its traces. The artist allows himself to be led intuitively into the pictorial event through the use of horizontal lines, creates dissonance in the pictorial space and finds compositional harmony in it. Wall-sized formats are shown, as well as roller lettering, cutter painting and an experimental film by his Cologne colleague Thomas Schmidl, who animated the image observations. Adrian Wellmann composed the film music from the sound of scratching records.
